39th ADAC Zurich 24h Race
Finishing the seasons highlight
Pinta will start the 24 hour race with two Porsche
Pinta Racing is coming with a lot of optimism to the 39. ADAC 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. The team has already shown its speed in four races of the VLN Long Houl Championship. In all four races Pinta drivers Michael Illbruck and Manuel Lauck in the Porsche GT3 R where in the top flight. Furthermore the team celebrated their first pole-position in race four and earned their first kilometres in the lead.
In spite of the success the aim for the 24 hours is not the podium. „We want to finish the 24 hours and race against the teams within our range,“ said Michael Illbruck. Pushing for the lead is not wise according to the team leader. „If we can keep our speed and finish we should be automatically under the top 15.“ Illbruck can not and will not hope for a better result considering the starting list.
Pinta Racing has strengthened themselfes for the famous 24 hours. Additionally to Michael Illbruck and Manuel Lauck the experienced pro drivers Jörg van Ommen and Altfrid Heger will be behind the steeringwheel.
Pinta Racing will also start a second car at the 24 hours. Felix Illbruck and Matthias Hofsümmer who showed two promising races this year will steer the Pinta-Porsche 997 GT3Cup. For the race Klaus Elm and Eddie Althoff will be also driving.
